The College hosted the seminar "Collaboration between Italy and Sudan in the field of cultural heritage conservation" organized by the Italian Embassy to Sudan and the National Corporation of Antiquities and Museums.
Italian and Sudanese experts illustrated their interventions in the context of the bilateral partnership in the archaeological field and the conservation of cultural heritage. Some lecturers and students of Computer
Science who work in projects related to the applications of technology to cultural heritage attended the seminar.
At the end of the seminar, the Central Institute for Restoration and the University of Roma Tre
presented the documentary "The Italian restoration in the world" which tells the story of the methodological development of restoration between the XIX and XX centuries and the Italian contribution with a special
attention to the restoration of the temple of Mut in Sudan.
