BA Honors Computer Science
The four-year bachelor's degree program enhances the student's ability to handle software construction and create digital solutions to problems of social sciences, business, mathematics, engineering sciences and information technology. Classes are taught in English.
The program objectives are:
Understand the breadth of computer science, its divisions, key intellectual questions, and potential past and future impacts on engineering, science, medicine, business, business and law
Approaching an algorithmic perspective, broadly understanding the nature of computation and its applications
Deal with issues from a systems perspective and understand the evolving layers of the software / hardware stack and how to create, use, and extend them
Dealing with problems from an AI perspective, and understanding how to make progress against seemingly intractable problems
Design and implement complex software systems, both individually and as a team member;
Design and implementation of effective human-machine interfaces.
