Last Friday 29th September some graduates and staff members of Comboni College (Primary, Secondary and University sections) who took refuge in Cairo met in the place established by Comboni for the education of Sudanese men and women in 1874. Together we walked with Comboni through history and everyone shared the tough experience of leaving home because of the war in progress. We concluded our meeting with a prayer for peace around the corner stone blessed by Comboni in 1880 for the building of a church in this city around the male and the female institutes built to regenerate Africa through Africans.
