After 20 hours of theoretical training and 15 hours of practical one, 71 volunteers received the certificate that testifies the completion of the course in palliative care.
Some of them are already putting into practice what they learnt with some neighbours or relatives with terminal or chronic diseases.
This training is an expression of the mission of the College that educates for the common good of the community and took place at Al-Wifaq Primary Health Center in Philip (Port Sudan).
The project is possible thanks to the collaboration with AISPO, head of the project, and the Ministry of Health-Red Sea State and the funding from the Italian Agnecy for Development Cooperation (AICS).
The College is starting a new batch of volunteers at is new premises inside Comboni Secondary School in Port Sudan.
