Comboni College of Science and Technology is developing a web platform for Learning Signs Language in Sudanese Arabic. The website in fact is designed to teach Signs Language in Sudanese Arabic using multimedia resources. The platform will cater to Sudanese Arabic-speaking users who wish to learn sign language for personal, professional, or educational purposes. The goal is to promote inclusivity, communication, and awareness in Sudan, especially among educators, families, and organizations supporting the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities.
The recording of the video-lessons started today with an accredited translator provided by the Sudan National Union of Deaf Persons.
The project is headed by AISPO and funded by AICS (ref. 12144/SC/1).
