IRISS organized an International Congress to conclude INSO Project and explore the way to continue the collaboration with كليةand the Ministry of Higher Education of Sudan. The Congress was opened with the words of Alfonso MORVILLO, Director CNR-IRISS, H.E. Abdelwahab EL HIJAZI, Sudanese Ambassador to Italy, H.E. Fabrizio LOBASSO, Italian Ambassador to Sudan and Chiara IMPAGLIAZZO, representative from the International Relations Unit of the Italian Ministry of Interior - Department for Civil Liberties and Immigration, funder of the project. After the first institutional moment, Prof. Alberto FORNASARI, from the Centre for life-long learning (CAP), University of BARI, presented the worked done by his university in the project. Dr. Mohamed ISMAIL YOUSIF SULIMAN, Director of the Undersecretary Office of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Sudan (MOHE) presented the Role of Private Colleges and Universities in the Enhancement of Entrepreneurship while Dr. Rashid Abdelhaleem SAEED ABDELHALEEM, Deputy Director of Scientific Research and Innovation Commission (SRIC), spoke about the role of Research Institutions to the development of entrepreneurship in Sudan. Fr. Jorge NARANJO ALCAIDE instead, Gen. Admin. of Comboni College of Science and Technology (CCST), presented the strategic role of كليةin the implementation of the incubator that came as result of the project and that will be the axis of future collaboration between كليةand IRISS. Muna Mohammed ELAMIN MERGHANI, Chief Human Resources Officer/Head of CSI – Haggar DMCC, spoke about “Setting up of an incubator: Work prospective in Sudan”. Fabio PETRONI, Director of programs of E4impact Foundation, reflected on the “The sustainability of an incubator: the experience of the E4Impact Foundation in Africa”. Finally, Daniela De GREGORIO, Project Manager of the INSO Project, spoke about the “The INSO legacy: Challenges and New Horizons”.
