The Archbishop of Khartoum, H.G. Michael Didi, blessed today the new nursing clinic Comboni College of Science and Technology will open in collaboration with AISPO and the Parish of Port Sudan in the framework of the project “Nursing Science at Comboni College”.
The Nursing Clinic is mainly a platform to organize the activities of the Palliative Care Volunteers who will support families who have persons with chronic or terminal diseases at home.
Fatima Salih (AISPO), the Provincial of the Missionaries of Charity, Sr. Anne Longina, Fr. Pious Anyaja, Parish Priest, Mr. James Joseph, Headmaster of Comboni-Secondary School and the CCST staff involved in the project also attended the event along with 22 health professionals of Port Sudan who follow the course in Palliative Care for Health Professionals.
These health professionals had their third training session which was dedicated to pain management.
