The Universitat Politècnica de València UPV completed the procedures for the application to the Erasmus – Capacity Building in Higher Education call last 8 February with the project Enhancing Higher Education e-learning structures and modules in conflict regions of East Africa (EAGLE).

The project involves also the University of Nicosia, specialized in e-teaching, Comboni College of Science and Technology and other 5 universities of Sudan, South Sudan (Catholic University of South Sudan) and Kenya along with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of South Sudan.

The project aims to strengthen the capacities of the involved universities to work in the midst of conflicts and instability through digital tools. In this way, CCST tries to improve the quality of its online courses and of its capacity to adapt its activity to the current situation of the country.

Moreover the central office of the College in Port Sudan finalized the installation of 10 solar panels to provide the necessary electricity to continue managing College activities.
